The Kollock Hawks Alumni non-profit organization is dedicated to addressing food insecurity and hunger in the Marlboro County community through our Food Assistance program. We operate a community food pantry that provides free, nutritious food to individuals and families in need.
Our food pantry is stocked with a variety of staple food items, including fresh produce, meats, dairy products, grains, and canned goods. We also collaborate with local farmers, grocery stores, and food banks to ensure a diverse and sustainable food supply for our clients.
In addition to providing direct food assistance through our community pantry, we organize monthly food distributions and mobile pantries to reach residents in remote and underserved areas of Marlboro County. Our team of volunteers works diligently to distribute food to those who cannot access our pantry due to transportation or other challenges.
Our Food Assistance program also focuses on promoting healthy eating and food security through nutrition education and cooking workshops. We empower individuals and families to make healthy food choices and prepare nutritious meals on a budget, enhancing their overall health and well-being.
